Manchester City are closing in on the signing of Jack Grealish.
The Blues will break the British transfer record to land the Aston Villa star, with one report suggesting that Grealish is travelling to Manchester today in order to take his medical and put the finishing touches to the move.
The deal could be announced today, with the two clubs now in agreement over the structure of the deal.
City bid £100million last week, knowing that the England player had an agreement with Villa that he could leave if any club hit the nine-figure mark.
Since then, the move has been inevitable, the only question being how much money City would pay up front, but it appears that the detail has now been sorted and with terms agreed with the player, he is preparing to head north.
When it goes through, the deal will be the first time that City have broken the British record since the first day of their takeover by Sheikh Mansour, when they splashed out £32.5million to bring in Robinho from Real Madrid.
